Welcome to Armenian Wine Importers website Terms & Conditions for use (“Terms”).These Terms apply to the use of this website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order for wines you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions please do not use our Website.
Before you place an order with us, if you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions please contact us.
We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old .
We cannot guarantee the availability or otherwise of any wine. In the event that a wine is unavailable when you place your order, we shall contact you to arrange replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.
We have no minimum purchase but orders under £100 in value may be subject to a small delivery charge. All goods are offered subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages.
All prices are inclusive of UK VAT.
Although we try to make sure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be priced incorrectly. If we discover a pricing error we will either make contact with you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will be under no obligation to supply goods at the incorrect price.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
We will take all reasonable care ,in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
Events outside our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).
A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:
(a) strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
(b) civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
(c) fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
(d) impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
(e) impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; and
(f) the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
16.3 Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
Any access or use of the Website for any reason other than your personal, non-commercial use is prohibited.
Armenian Wine Importers do not retain any customer credit card details and all transactions are protected by PayPal’s secure payment processing service. Armenian Wine importers will only retain the e-mail addresses of customers who have specifically agreed that we should do so in order that we may communicate directly with them in the future. We will never pass on this information to third parties.
